Supporters

There are so many ways you can help us to support brain injury survivors and their families. Here are just a few tasters!

Run a Marathon!

Headway East Northants has places available in the Virgin London Marathon each year. Why not take up the challenge of the Marathon? You'll have fun, get fit and at the same time raise money that really makes a difference to brain injury survivors, their families and carers. For further information about obtaining a place, do get in touch by either calling us on 01933 652311, or emailing our Admin and Fundraising Coordinator, Becky Lake, on   rebecca.lake@headwayeastnorthants.org.uk

Take on a Challenge!

Ever fancied doing something a bit different for a great cause? Whether it's that sponsored run or swim, a bake-off contest, fundraising disco or perhaps something completely crazy, we want to hear from you! Do it - take up that challenge for Headway East Northants and raise some money to support us. Each and every penny makes every difference!

As an example, back in 2016, supporters of our charity climbed the White Giant Mountain in Iceland and also took part in a skydive! If that sort of thing is a bit too on the wild side for you though, don't worry - we're just as delighted to hear from you if you're thinking of something like a bake sale, tombola or raffle!

Corporate Support

For the delivery of services and support, Headway East Northants depend on the generous support of organisations and their employees. Without corporate support Headway East Northants would not be able to continue to do the work we do.

Adopt us as your charity of the year or encourage staff to fundraise for Headway East Northants. Charity involvement promotes team work, and also helps develop leadership skills, confidence, communication and creativity.

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is an easy, efficient and flexible way to donate to Headway East Northants by a direct deduction from your monthly wages.

There are many benefits to this type of giving:

It is tax-effective, so Headway East Northants will receive your donation and the tax you would have paid on the amount- so there are no gift aid forms to fill in.

Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax, so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p. If you're a higher rate tax payer, it will only cost you 60p.

It can be for any amount, depending entirely on what you feel you would like to give.

It enables you to budget for supporting Headway East Northants every month.

Your regular contribution will mean that Headway East Northants will be able to provide support for brain injury survivors in the long-term, and help us to budget and plan ahead more effectively.

Amazing donation from Higgins!

We were thrilled to receive a huge quantity of wood Higgins Builders Merchants, which was kindly arranged as a donation from Thomas, who works there.

Woodwork is always such a popular activity here at our Centre, and our clients, together with the support of our volunteers, enjoy working together to create useful items.

With such a generous donation, there's no end to the items that can be created and we can't wait to see what comes out of our woodwork room, so a huge thank you to Higgins!

If there's anything that you may be interested in donating to us here at Headway, please do get in touch as we'd love to hear from you! Please email  rebecca.lake@headwayeastnorthants.org.uk
