Amazon Smile and Give as you Live

We are now registered with both Amazon Smile and 'Give as you Live'. This means that when you shop online via Amazon and the many thousands of participating retailers, choosing us as your selected charity will enable us to receive donations from your purchases - and as those donations are covered by Amazon and the Give as you Live groups, they won't cost you a penny.

All you need to do is select Headway East Northants as your chosen charity to donate to. Amazon Smile will then donate 0.5% of the net purchase price of eligible goods to us, and Give as you Live will also donate a percentage of the total purchase price. It's a simple and free way of donating to us here each time you shop online with a participating retailer.

Please visit  http://www.smile.amazon.co.uk or  http://www.giveasyoulive.com for full details.

Amazing donation of £790 from East Northants Councillor, Roger Powell!

We are thrilled to have received an incredible donation of £790 from East Northants Councillor, Roger Powell, who has chosen to donate to us via his Empowerment Fund.

Councillor Powell was familiar with our work via Irthlingborough Town Council and got in touch to see how he could help. We spoke directly with our clients, asking for their input about any new purchases they could recommend to enhance our centre services.

We were very excited to place an order for several brand new Meccano and Lego modelling kits, professional art supplies, historical DVD sets and even a karaoke machine at the request of our clients!

We thank Councillor Powell sincerely for this wonderful donation to our centre!

Wellingborough Golf Club chooses HEN as a charity to support over 2019!

We're delighted to announce that we've been chosen by Wellingborough Golf Club as one of two local charities the club wishes to support over 2019, the other being Wellibus!

Chairperson, Sally McKeown, got in touch and invited Becky along to a fundraising bridge drive back in December, and then to the ladies' club prizegiving supper, where Becky was able to meet fellow members and chat a little more indepth about the services we provide here at Headway East Northants.

The Club has lots of terrific events in the pipeline to help raise funds for us, including garden parties and a jazz afteroon in June, which we're told has ALREADY sold out! We are so grateful to the Club for selecting us to support in 2019, and look forward to working together.
