Aims and Objectives  

 

To provide quality information and support for the people in our community with a brain injury, and their families/carers.

 

To ensure our that our services meet the needs of those with a brain injury, and that those specialist services are of the quality they deserve.

 

To provide a place where people with a brain injury can come to be with others who understand, and a place where they can gain support from each other without judgment or impatience.

 

To enable people with a brain injury to remain in their own homes and continue to be a part of the community in which they live.

 

To work with, and build relationships with, all our stakeholders to ensure that our services change, develop and grow in line with changing needs.

 

To increase awareness of brain injury and its consequences in our community.

Our AGM, Friday 28th September

 

We are looking forward to hosting our Annual General Meeting here at the Centre on Friday 28th September. 

 

The meeting will start at 4.30pm and should last approximately 40 minutes, giving us the opportunity to reflect on our activities over the last year. Buffet and refreshments available.

Raunds Ukelele Orchestra fundraising concert!

 

Our facilitator Freyja, deputy manager Jonny, and the Headway Music Group will be performing with others at a fabulous fundraising concert to raise funds for both Headway East Northants and the Cransley Hospice. 

Why not go along for an evening of great music and fundraising for two fabulous causes?

The concert is on the 6th October and starts at 7pm at Rushden Heritage Chapel and Halls, Park Road, Rushden.

Client Michael obtains Food Safety qualification! 

Headway East Northants client, Michael, last week successfully completed an online course in Food Safety for Catering, and as a result, is now Level 2-qualified in Food Handling. 

Michael enjoys both our cookery sessions and I.T here at Headway East Northants, so combining the two together was a win-win!

Huge congratulations to Michael on this terrific achievement!
